about me

About me

I was born in Brooklyn, New York. I grew up in Marlboro, New Jersey. I am the great-grandson son of Norwegian immigrants. In 2001, I received a degree in Speech & Communication Studies from Clemson University. In 2007, I graduated from Rutgers University School of Law-Newark. In 2008, I was admitted to the New Jersey State Bar. The following year, I was admitted to the New York State Bar. I can practice immigration law in all fifty (50) states. I speak Spanish. I am an avid fan of basketball. I play a little guitar and write the occasional song. My wife is from Spain and we often travel there to visit her family.

Working as an immigration attorney allows me to the opportunity to combine my enthusiasms for helping others and interacting with people from around the world. I know of no greater professional pleasure than hearing “thank you” in another language.

It would be my pleasure to assist in your legal matters before the United States Citizenship & Immigration Services, the United States Immigration Courts, or in the courts of the State of New York or the State of New Jersey.
